Annual Songbird Festival

Held at the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation in Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park, the Songbird Festival offers educational activities for the entire family. Visitors can participate in workshops on everything from birding to alternative energy. Take a banding lab tour or guided hike, enjoy a pancake breakfast, and participate in a 5 km (3 mi) or 10 km (6 mi) walk/run on Sunday. Lots of free children's activities including face painting, building a bird house, and crafts. Come and celebrate spring migration in Slave Lake.
